The project is located in Koco Ligeng Town, Wuchuan County, Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and is the first set of grid-side sodium-ion energy storage system in Inner Mongolia. The installed capacity of the project is 2.5MW/10MWh, which is equipped with sodium-ion batteries independently developed by WKT! As one of the first grid-side energy storage demonstration projects in Inner Mongolia, the power station will be mainly used for clean energy storage, helping power balance and peak pressure relief. With policy support and grid promotion, the project has a broad prospect and significant social benefits.

The C230 series sodium-ion batteries delivered by WKT for this project, with a capacity of 230Ah, have core advantages such as high safety, high multiplicity performance, and ultra-long cycle life, and can maintain nearly 85% capacity even at -40℃, adapting to the complex environment of the Inner Mongolia region, where there are huge changes in cold and heat and a large difference in temperature between the four seasons. At present, Wolters Kluwer has completed a new generation of sodium-ion battery technology with an energy density of 160Wh/kg and a cycle time of over 6,000 times, which continues to lead the industry in terms of performance indexes, and has achieved a good market response in a number of energy storage and power application scenarios. At the beginning of November, Wolters Kluwer's polyanion sodium batteries, the S180 series and the S60 series were officially released, and are now realized in large-scale mass production and will be tailored to meet the needs of customers for different storage and power application scenarios. They will be customized according to customers' needs, providing ultra-safe and valuable sodium-ion battery solutions for different energy storage scenarios, and contributing to the development of diversified energy storage applications.

In the future, sodium-ion batteries will become the optimal choice for the energy storage market! According to different application scenarios, WKT will continue to promote the technological innovation and market application of sodium power, and explore more new forms of sodium power to help the construction of green low-carbon economy.
