On the afternoon of January 18, 2025, “20 Years of Creating Together -- Sharing the Future -- WKT 2024 Recognition and New Energy Business 20th Anniversary Ceremony” was grandly held at Dongguan base. More than 230 people attended the ceremony, including Chairman He and other leaders of the Holding Group, relevant leaders of Hengli Town, the operation teams of the Joint Stock Company, annual advanced, honored persons of 20 years of new energy business and employee representatives.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Ben Aijian, Supervisor of WKT, delivered a speech. He reviewed the development of the company, expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the staff for their hard work, and inspired everyone to take the work outline of 2025 as a guideline under the grand blueprint of the new 20 years, take the key projects and key work as a mountain, and dare to fight a good fight, meet every challenge and seize every opportunity with a firmer conviction, a fuller enthusiasm, and a more energetic fighting spirit, to create a more brilliant tomorrow for the joint-stock company. From the difficult exploration in the early stage of the establishment to the industry leader today, every key milestone has been reached with the efforts and sweat of all the people of WKT.
Immediately after that, the “20 Years Award” and “20 Years Contributors” were awarded one after another to pay high respect to those employees who have accompanied the company through the long years and made outstanding contributions to the company's development. Wang Shanchao, the representative of Value Oriented Award, shared his own story of struggle in VTech with deep emotion. 16 years of experience in VTech has made him grow up from a newly graduated college student to the person in charge of aluminum casing business now, he has witnessed the company's development and growth, and he is grateful for VTech's careful cultivation of the young people and full recognition, which is so touching that it triggered a resonance throughout the whole room.
Chapter III: A New Journey
The third chapter “Starting a New Journey Again” pushed the celebration to the climax. Chen Liangqin, chairman and president of the joint-stock company, led the audience to review how Wike's 20 years of new energy business has come all the way to the present, and envisioned that in the next 20 years, through the unremitting efforts of all the people of Wike, we can surely reach the industry leadership in terms of industry status, production capacity scale, customer structure, and team mechanism, and be the valuable expert of the power supply total solution for the niche market, and be the star that our customers respect and our employees are proud of! Enterprise. Afterwards, the 2025 work outline was released, deploying eight key tasks, such as reshaping core competitiveness, breakthrough in stock business growth, breakthrough in new markets & customers, breakthrough in overseas market, breakthrough in market & R&D capability, breakthrough in incentive mechanism, breakthrough in team training, and improvement in internal management, etc., and calling on all of us to join hands and shoulders to write a new chapter for Wolters Kluwer together!
The “Mission to Achieve” segment is about the implementation of responsibility and determination. Mr. Chen awarded flags to 3 group-level and 6 joint-stock company-level projects, and Mr. Chen received the battle flag from the solemn flag-guard, and awarded flags to the representatives of each project one by one, who took over the mission and responsibility, and showed their determination to accomplish the mission when shouting out their slogans. Immediately after the “Fighting Oath” ring, Mr. Chen Liangqin led the leaders of the joint-stock company and the team of the business division to take the oath on the stage, and the people under the stage also took the oath together solemnly, the oath resounded through the whole scene, expressing the firm belief of all Viko people in realizing the 25-year strategic goal of the company and breaking through the key strategic projects.
Subsequently, Chairman He of the Group delivered an important speech: Mr. He expressed his gratitude to the WK family members who have struggled and grown together with WKT over the past 20 years, and especially thanked those who carried the flag, made solemn oaths, and assumed responsibility for the struggle. In the face of fierce competition in the new energy market, Mr. He emphasized the focus strategy: focusing on the breakthrough of 3C customers, the landing of core products of sodium electricity, and the organizational reengineering and team re-enforcement of strategic change. At the same time, based on Mr. Chen's eight key work breakthroughs, Mr. He especially emphasized internal management, through the breakthrough of internal management, to enhance core competitiveness and realize the breakthrough of market increment. To this end, the Board of Directors will also introduce incentives and sharing mechanisms and supporting job requirements and performance ability assessment, for all Wike strugglers to add full power and loaded with engines.
